봄봄봄~
봄이 왔네요~
i can't not blog about spring. it was short and sweet and everything beautiful. this is one of the reasons i love a country with four seasons; the change of temperature, the change of colors and with this change, signifying a new time to start afresh. not to mention, it was my first time seeing cherry blossoms. who would have thought that the tall skinny trees along the roads in uni were actually cherry blossom trees? they sure didn't look like it. oops. :D
and when they bloomed, what a wonderful surprise! all pink and soft and fluffy and you can't help but feel like love is in the air~ /yes, too much Korean dramas.
the university had a cherry blossom festival but it wasn't as hyped up as Silla Holic. this one was just stalls at side of the road and people selling trinkets and simple games and food, oh, you do not leave out the food and booze out of any festival.
here are some other shots of cherry blossoms. and here is one of me. ^^ spring was even more significant for me because it truly signified a new beginning. there were bittersweet moments while looking at the cherry blossoms but the soft delicate flowers just can't help but make me smile and realize that this beauty must be appreciated regardless of what circumstance i was in. and with this thought, i think i began to heal. (: unfortunately, the cherry blossoms are short-lived beings. they only bloom for about a week/two weeks or so and fall away. fresh green leaves take their place and spring is finally on its way. going to leave with another lovely picture of the cherry blossoms. take care!
