Hey hey, here i am again back to update all of you on what we've been up to. well, the get-up below was due to a party called All Together. i believe it was organized for the students living at the dorms to de-stress. not much stress over on our side but no harm joining the fun. heeh.

it was quite enjoyable despite the language barrier. there were competitions such as Oppa Gangnam Style dance, Best Dressed, XO game and Jaegi chagi. the MC kept making people club dance. lol. it was quite an eye opener for me to see how Korean people enjoy themselves. :D /psychology part of me speaking.

and last Saturday, we took a day trip to Gyeongju (경주) also known as "the museum without walls". the trip was quite impromptu and thus, we were not able to visit a lot of places. in fact, we only had time to visit Bulguksa / Temple of the Buddha Land (불국사).

the place was gorgeous. here are some proof. more pictures over at my facebook of course. ^^

 i was blown away. yea, i do get some pretty nice scenery at the university but traveling over to Gyeongju felt like entering another world. after the visit to Bulguksa, we decided to cycle around instead of visiting another place. it was chilly but it was still a good weather to cycle in. we do plan to visit some time soon and stay more than a day because there were just so much more to see.

and here is the famous Gyeongju Bang (빵). its red bean paste on the inside.

and this has to to be my absolutely favorite part of the trip with my favorite color too! so so pretty!

this is the update thus far. i wonder what we will be up to this weekend. till then, goodnight!

i guess i could say that Halloween Party was a success. :D at first there weren't a lot of people but we managed to attract/harass/threaten them to join us. we had games, performances, best dressed and lucky draw. Games were apple bobbing (the participants got their faces wet! :/), charades, guessing game, talent show (!) and musical chairs. the performances were by Fuad (guitarist) and Nay (singer). they did a few love songs that i'm sure melted a few girls' hearts. ^^ a few of the foreign professors came to join us too which was really nice of them.

overall, everybody enjoyed themselves. we had a photo session after where we got to dress up and take pictures. below are some of the people that came and supported us. so thankful for them and really glad they did actually had some fun with us.

and now, introducing the staff of English Muse Cafe. ta-dah!

Yan Yee for doing our (mine and Merryn's) makeup and making us look pretty and also feeding us the day before when we were doing our deco!

all the English Cafe staff for doing whatever that needed to be done to make this party happen.

the professors for encouraging their students to attend, for helping out, for being such a sport.

and of course, all the people that came for the party, thank you thank you for joining us!
